What is needed ?
Electronic formations with Companies House do away with
the need to sign documents with a pen.
Instead, Companies House ask for 3 pieces
of information, personal to each person involved in the
company and this information is stored for later reference
should the need arise.
Whilst there are in fact 7 items to choose from, some of
these items are not compatible with overseas people, such
as making use of the National Insurance number, or, if you
don't have a passport, that rules that out as well. We have
therefore chosen the 3 required pieces of information as
a standard to use. They are:
Your Town of Birth
Your Eye Colour
Your mothers maiden name
A maiden name is the "family" name,
that your mother had, before marriage. In many countries,
the wife takes on the husbands family name, so Mrs Freda
Smith may become Mrs Freda Peterson after marriage.
The first 3 letters of each of the 3 questions
are formed into a 9 character code which is submitted to
Companies House with each form. This is effectively a digital
signature for Companies House.
What else do we need ?
In addition to the signature information,
you need:
The FULL name of the person wishing to be
involved in the company
You also need to know if they have ever changed
their name - not by marriage as mentioned above, but if
they have changed their name, either firstname or surname.
Their full HOME address is required. If Companies
House feel that the address sounds like a business address,
they will reject your formation and request more infromation
from you.
Finally, you need to know the person's date
of birth and their occupation. Many people put "Director"
or "Secretary" for the occupation, however the
intended use is to identify if you are a carpenter, plumber,
management accountant etc.
With the above information collected for each
person, and with an idea of a company name, you are ready
to form your company
OK, So what next ?
Our online Company Formation system is one
of the fastest services on the internet. Not only is the
system fully electronic, resulting in anything from 1 hour
to about 5 hours formation times (i.e. SAME DAY FORMATIONS),
our turnround time to get documents out of the door to you
is usually around 24 hours - with no extra fees for the
speed of service.
Many customers have submitted a company formation on a Monday
morning and received the paperwork of a fully formed company
by Tuesday morning. You may see some competitors offering
"dormant" companies. This will register the company
name but the company is never owned by you - until you "activate"
the company and pay the registration agent to transfer their
own shareholders away from the company and you buy the shares
from them. All of our companies, whether purely electronic
or combined with printed paperwork are all formed with YOUR
details, YOUR ownership and YOUR directorship. Why settle
for anything less ?
