We have grouped our company registration services into the most frequently requested options to save you time and money. However, you are not restricted to the contents of any one package. If there is something in the Platinum package that you want (such as VAT Registration) but you want the Silver package, then simply choose the Silver package and when prompted you can add the relevant product to your order. Packaged items are cheaper than buying individually though. Please view our Company Registration Comparison Chart for the benefits and details of each package, or simply give us a call

A Business Bank account is required for your new Limited Company. We work together with Barclays as an approved new business partner and have access to an automated fast track account application process. Your company registration details will be sent by us to Barclays as soon as your company is formed to fast track your account application process. You will be contacted by a Barclays representative no later than 2 working days after this to arrange a time to meet the Barclays Business Manager. Your account will be opened at your local branch - not our local branch. You will get:
Did you know that Barclays open a new Business Bank account every working minute ?
Please note: Although we make every effort to fast track your account application to Barclays, we cannot guarantee that your account will be opened as this is subject to the banks terms and conditions.
VAT Registration is optional if your yearly taxable turnover is less than the current threshold (£68,000). If your turnover will be greater than this (or the equivalent monthly value) then you are required to register.
You may wonder whether its worth registering voluntarily? The simple answer would be dependant on your expected customer base. If your customers are primarily "the man in the street", not other businesses then staying not VAT registered for as long as possible is usually ideal because your prices could then be lower than your competitors who maybe are VAT registered and so their prices to their end users are higher. A good example of this is household guttering, fascia and window installations. If they are VAT registered then their prices to the home owner will be higher
If you are dealing primarily with other VAT registered businesses then they don't mind if you are VAT registered or not - if you are and they are, then they will be claiming the VAT paid back as part of their VAT return, and if you arent registered then they aren't paying the VAT in the first place.
The benefits of voluntary VAT registration is two fold. Firsty, if your taxable turnover is less than the threshold and you are not registered, then everyone can see you are a small business and may not give you the work because of it, so being VAT registered can make small companies look bigger. The other benefit is recoverable VAT on purchases. Taking the guttering company again as an example. When they buy the guttering for £100+VAT they are paying the VAT but they can't recover it from their customer unless they put their price up, but if they were VAT registered, they would be claiming back the VAT on the suppliers invoice so this means they are effectively only paying the ex-VAT price.
We can register you for VAT as part of your application for company formation - simply tick the box next to the product option on screen as you go through selecting optional items.
