For all companies registered at Companies House, the registered office address, company name, and company number information that we supply is publicly available and free from Companies House (and free from our website) if you know the name or number to search on. However if you want the information filtered by the date of incorporation, and geographically, this isnt provided on their website, which is where we come in.
This "Newly Incorporated Companies" service we supply, provides you with a daily source of information and additionally allows you to filter based on geographic location etc. Companies House will supply an entire months file for £1200 but rather than having to receive 30,000+ records once a month, you can have access whenever you want, at a fraction of the cost, and filter down to as little as 50 records across the previous month if required.
You can create multiple filter sets - maybe to cover different office locations or for different marketing schemes. Use this tab to create a new filter set and then use the filters on the subsequent tabs to reduce the entire file down to a manageable size (or take the entire file!)
Creating new filters or updating them is completely free of charge. You will only be charged when you choose to export the data from the selections you have made. Please provide a descriptive name for the filter you are working with

You can filter the available data by providing the first part of the postcode - i.e. B98, BA56 etc, or select a town, such as Birmingham, Manchester, Skegness and pick up all the available postal areas in one easy step. Also, you can provide your office postcode and choose the distance from your office that you want to cover. You can build up a combination of all the available geographic filters to get your exact requirements.
Newly formed companies do not declare the type of company they are until they file the annual return, 12 months after formation, so its not possible to identify accountants, web development firms etc. However, many firms will indicate the type of business they are within their company name - FRED AND JERRY WEB DEVELOPERS LTD or FRED AND JERRY ACCOUNTANTS LLP. You can add multiple name filters below.
Note: A company will be selected if it matches ANY of the geographical filters, or any of the name filters, however if you apply both geographical AND name filters then it must match BOTH to be included.

Select the date from when you want to start filtering the records (if you are intending to carry out daily exports, setting the date will give you an idea of quantity within a particular time period to determine how many records to purchase)
You can choose any date within the last 31 days (otherwise the company would not really be considered a new incorporation - please contact us if you need more data from further back than 31 days)
Daily data is usually processed around 10.30am, Monday to Friday, for the previous working days formations - so Monday processes Friday's company formations and any small volumes from the weekend, Tuesday processes Monday etc.

The address details provided are the registered office address. Some companies use mail forwarding services or small accountants to handle their registered office post. We compare addresses of companies to get a "uniqueness" indicator to allow you to filter out companies who might be using a third party handling service. In short, the more companies that are at the same address, the higher the likelihood is that its a mail handling company. Some mail handling firms will just forward to an officer of the company whereas others will open the post. Its not an exact science but it allows you to easily remove companies if there happens to be a mail handling operation within your geographic filters so you are indirectly including companies that may not be in your geographic region. This is less of an issue the wider the geographical net you have.
You can also filter by company type. If you are not interested in not-for-profit (Limited By Guarantee) companies you can filter them out.
Company type :
Private Limited Company Limited by guarantee (charity/not for profit) with LIMITED removed from name Community Interest Company Limited by guarantee (charity/not for profit) Private Unlimited Company Public Limited Company Limited Liability Partnership Other company type Limited Partnership
There are records which match the criteria. Remember to re-apply the filter when you make any filter changes.
Based on the count, you can then either determine whether you want to do a one off export of the data you have selected, or you can use the counts to determine what quantity of records per day (on average) may be available based on your filters so that you can opt to have daily automated exports from the system. With the automated daily exports, you pay for a quantity of records in a package which closely matches the number of records that you want and they are emailed to you each day automatically based on the previous working days formations.
